Cyclone Idai has caused catastrophic death and destruction in southeast Africa. The needs are imminent but rebuilding lives and structures will take years if not decades. The AMOS Foundation is already considering both short and long-term solutions to help in this humanitarian crisis through our Zimbabwe Disaster Relief initiative.
As of early November 2019, we will be sending a container of food (over 750,000 meals) donated to Healing Hands International. The cost of the food has already been paid so we are only responsible for covering the shipping of the container (around $7,000).
